Meet Sully

World, meet Sully.

Sully came to us via a stork the mailman, via Tortoise Loves Donkey, a sweet lil Etsy shop. I spoke of Sully's upcoming arrival at our house over here.



Well the day finally arrived two weeks ago, and Sully came to live in our home!

Following the directions he came with, I gave him a nice soaking...

And then placed him carefully into his new home our West Elm Shane Powers hanging vase.

I think he likes it. And I'm loving the spiky, fleshy green guy with the gentle lines of the round vase. Beautiful. he's hanging above our kitchen sink, and it almost makes me want to hang there too. And do dishes. Not.

 I'm thinking we will have to get another vase, he is nearly too big for this one, and I like the look of a longer, more vial-like vase. So we will be in the market for a new, smaller plant soon as well!

What do you think of Sully the air-plant? Whats the success rate for these fellas? Do they grow quickly? I'm excited to watch him mature.
